Before May ends, I wanted to write a romance book list with Asian American and Pacific Islander characters in honor of AAPI Heritage Month which takes place the whole month of May. If you didn’t know, AAPI Heritage Month happens in May because of two important events:
Most of the time you find a book on TikTok or Twitter and you completely obsess over it. Right? That happens to me too, so I’m on the same boat. And then after reading and obsessing over it, I want to find something that feels similar. But obviously, I have to go and search on the internet very carefully for that. I want to make this easier for you if you’re just like me and want to find pretty similar romance books to those very popular books you read and loved.
My favorite thing about the neighbors-to-lovers trope is having the love interests interact often. Knowing the main characters may not be able to escape having contact creates a fun expectation on their interaction. But what if the main characters dislike each other? Well then we can expect friction, sexual tension (because of course!), and 100% bickering banter between the two.
Our first box ever was so much fun to put together! Keep reading to take a peek at the romance novel plus all the items featured in this box. And don't miss out on the next box! Click here to get your box now!
With best-selling and viral books likeThe Love HypothesisandThe Spanish Love Deception, you know that the fake dating trope never disappoints. You can also catch it in popular rom-com movies likeThe Proposal(2009) andTo All The Boys I’ve Loved Before(2018). So you see, the fake dating trope has always been very well-loved. It’s not a surprise that we continue to see books with it.
