King of Battle and Blood by Scarlett St. Clair

But what if you crave a little bit of danger and steam? Not to worry becauseKing of Battle and Blood will satisfy your needs. St. Clair is well-known for her Hades and Persphone fantasy romance series, but she kicked down the door to let us know she also has a new series that features sexy vampires and risky fights. In this novel, you’ll get to meet Isolde and Adrian, one a human princess and the other a vampire king.

Different beings from enemy kingdoms, but for peace, they agree to marry. It’s the start of a marriage of convenience, but that soon turns into something more when feelings and memories start to come up in their relationship.

The Dark King by Gina L. Maxwell

Another book you can look forward to isThe Dark King. It will be released on September 27th and you want to be ready to read it as soon as it drops. Think Las Vegas glamour with some deceit, fae, and danger when it comes to this book.

But also you’ll be needing a fan while reading this because oh man is this hot. Maxwell crafts an intriguing story of fae kings in Las Vegas when Bryn Meara, the heroine, decides to take a trip to an exclusive, ultra-luxe hotel and finds herself married to the reclusive billionaire owner of said hotel. And that’s not the only thing! Because she also realizes that he’s not only a billionaire, he’s royalty; the fae king of the Night Cout.

Just Like Magic by Sarah Hogle

One thing I’m fully enjoying this year is the light fantasy romance books publishers have been releasing. Sometimes I get a headache when it comes to intricate fantasy worlds and difficult magic systems. I love them, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes you are in the mood for something light and easy to follow along.

Just Like Magic has the perfect amount of magic and a ton of romance. It follows Bettie Hughes who has to return to her family’s house for the holidays but doesn’t want to tell them she’s broke and living in a dead person’s house. So, when she accidentally summons the Holiday Spirit in person, she thinks all her problems have been solved. Put a little bit of fake engagement trope and lots of chaotic situations and you’ll get Hogle’sJust Like Magic.

The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna

Finally, this is another light fantasy romance novel everyone should be reading as soon as it drops. The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches is a warm and uplifting novel where witches exist. Mika, a witch, knows she has to hide her magic in order not to draw attention.

She follows the rules to a T except when it comes to uploading videos of her doing magic to her secret online account. But then, someone actually contacts her! They want her to travel to the mysterious Nowhere House so she can teach three young witches how to control their magic.
