Age gap romance novels have become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason. These books explore the complex dynamics of relationships between individuals of different ages, and the challenges that can come with such relationships.
If you’re unfamiliar with the trope, it’s when an older person falls for a younger one. Obviously, each party is over 18! Usually, this trope goes hand-in-hand with the forbidden romance trope usually because one characters feels like their age gap is a roadblock impossible to overcome. It’s an exciting trope to read if done right. These next books featuring an age gap relationship will make you swoon!
Silver Lining by Chassilyn
When Cam hops on a singles cruise with her best friend, she never expected she would reunite with her college professor. Her sexy, tattooed, much older college professor.
Cam and Sylvester have insane chemistry! One thing leads to another and maybe this romance can become something more. But the cruise ends in a week… and could they make it work after going back home?
Funny Feelings by Tarah DeWitt
Farley just got the opportunity of a lifetime: she has been invited to costar a comedy special with some of her favorite comedians. But before the special is released, she is forced to fake a relationship with her manager and former comedian himself, Meyer! The good publicity could really help her out, so she agrees. What she doesn’t know is that Meyer has always been harboring some secret feelings for her as well.
Funny Feelings is such a beautiful, warm romance novel that features two people who have been in love with each other for a few years now. Meyer is also a single dad! The relationship between the three of them is the best thing in the book and I hope you all take a chance on it.
If She Says Yes by Tasha L. Harrison
In this Older Woman/Younger Man romance, you’ll follow Tomás Martinez who has had a crush on his best friend’s mother, Darcy, for years. Now, he’s coming back home for his best friend’s wedding and he’s ready to show Darcy that he’s ready to make her feel happy and loved.
This romance book will become a comfort read for you, for sure. Harrison’s writing makes it so easy to fall in love with the characters and the story. Her craft is a blessing and we’re so very thankful she has shared it with us.
Pretty Face by Lucy Parker
One of my all-time favorite romance novels.Pretty Face is the story of Lily and Luc who end up working together on a play. Lily is an actress who wants to prove that she has the talent to succeed. She’s not only a pretty face and a nice body, but she’s also so much more than that.
Working with esteemed director Luc Savage is sure the right way to showcase the talent inside her. But the relationship doesn’t start in the right way for them. Still, it’s not a surprise when an attraction burns inside and they can’t help but fall for each other. Parker is a master of slow-burn romance and she will captivate you with Lily and Luc’s beautiful and soft story.
